My Journey to Namastesha Wellness
Welcome, I’m Tesha. The foundation of Namastesha Wellness isn't just theory—it's built on my own messy, human experience of navigating midlife’s curveballs.
My turning point arrived in my late 30’s. After years of feeling complacent in a high-stress corporate career—a path I worked hard for in college but knew wasn't my true calling—I faced several losses simultaneously: I lost a baby, and shortly thereafter, my job. As I navigated this fresh wave of heartbreak and the complexities of infertility stress, my body delivered another blow: a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Sjögren's Syndrome. It was a moment that stopped me in my tracks.
Suddenly, I was grappling with grief, career uncertainty, and a physical reality that left me with pervasive stiffness, overwhelming fatigue, and debilitating "brain fog." My body began to feel like a stranger, and I felt trapped in a cycle of pain, fear, and negative self-talk: "I’m broken," "I have no control." This inactivity only worsened my condition.
Knowing I wanted to help others but unsure how, I sought solace in movement. I discovered the transformative power of a gentle, intentional practice and found profound relief in yoga. What began as a hobby quickly became a life force urging me to make it my life’s work.
Then, life presented an unexpected, beautiful twist: I became a mother again, later in life. This immense joy came with new demands, and I quickly realized I couldn't care for my family effectively while running on empty, inflamed, and overwhelmed. I had to become my own first client.
I realized the "push through the pain" mentality was harmful to an autoimmune body. I needed a compassionate, sustainable approach. I integrated mindful movement and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBC) to challenge my limiting beliefs and manage my nervous system.
My dedication to this new path led me to formal education; I pursued and achieved my certification as a Holistic Health Coach. This certification provided the structure and knowledge I needed to turn my personal triumphs into a professional methodology. I started with small, achievable goals and regained a sense of control and resilience.
This integrated approach gave me my life back. The combination of mindful movement, targeted mobility, and powerful mindset shifts helped me calm inflammation, improve my energy, and feel truly at home in my body again.
My mission is to help you find that same transformation.
I offer you the tools I used myself: a compassionate, evidence-based approach that understands the unique challenges of midlife and chronic conditions. You don't have to navigate these changes alone or feel stuck in a cycle of pain and frustration.
Through Namastesha, you will learn to listen to your body, move in ways that feel good (not forced), manage stress, and build resilience — because when you move with intention and clarity, you live with more ease.
I’m here to guide you with compassion, clarity, and the understanding that comes from having walked this path myself.
